Public Hearing

The City of Lincoln Public Hearing met in the Council Chambers on Tuesday, December 17, 2012.
There were six Aldermen present (Alderman Anderson, Alderman Armbrust, Alderman Horn, Alderman Neitzel, Alderman O’Donohue, and Alderman Wilmert) and three absent (Alderman Bacon, Alderman Hoinacki, and Alderman Tibbs). Also present were Safety and Building Officer Mr. John Lebegue, Street Superintendent Mr. Jackson, City Engineer Ms. Kramer, Police Chief Greenslate. Also present were Mayor Snyder, City Treasurer Mr. Conzo, Deputy City Clerk Mrs. Fulk, and Recording Secretary Mrs. Riggs.
Mayor Snyder called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. on the levying of taxes for corporate purposes for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2013 .
Mayor Snyder asked if there was any one present that wanted to make any public comment.
City Treasurer Mr. Conzo said the levy had been published in the local newspaper with the amount of $1,742,918.00 which is a slight difference from last of $52,122.00 and all being split equally ($27,250.00 each to the Police Pension Fund and the Firefighters Pension Fund..
There was no one to be heard on the matter.
Alderman Anderson moved to adjourn the meeting and Alderman Neitzel seconded to close the meeting. Deputy City Clerk Mrs. Fulk called the roll call. There were six yes (Alderman Anderson, Alderman Armbrust, Alderman Horn, Alderman Neitzel, Alderman O’Donohue, and Alderman Wilmert), one seat vacant and three absent (Alderman Bacon, Alderman Hoinacki, and Alderman Tibbs); motion carried.
The hearing was closed at 7:04 p.m.
