Report

The City of Lincoln Illinois has once again earned recognition as being a Tree City USA Community. This is the 15th consecutive year our City has been recognized.

Tree City USA is a national recognition program that began in 1976 and is sponsored by the Arbor Day Foundation in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service and National Association of State Foresters.

We will be conducting a tree dedication on Friday, April 15, 2016, at 10:30 AM. It will take place at the Southeast corner of Postville Park near the intersection of S. Washington St. and 4th St.

The Community is invited to attend the Tree City USA Dedication Ceremony.

If there are any questions or concerns, please contact Street Superintendent Walt Landers at 217-732-4655.
