*Notable* K-9 Samson was known as the “Million Dollar K9”. While on a traffic stop on Lincoln Parkway in Lincoln, K-9 Samson located $936,784 hidden amongst moving boxes in a U-Haul truck. This currency seizure allowed the Lincoln Police Department to move up in the technology era and outfitted the K-9 unit with a new squad back in the 90s.

*Notable* K-9 Jack was known for his article and people searches. A call for service was made for a juvenile runaway. Officers had search the area prior to K-9 Jack’s arrival. Jack indicated on a large garbage can and would not leave its side. The juvenile was found hiding in the garbage can.
